网龄超过 15 年的网友们，或许会对 Del.icio.us 这个“社交书签先驱”网站有点印象。在被多次转手和遗忘之前，成立于 2003 年的 Del.icio.us 曾有过几年的“美好时光”。而现在，该网站终于迎来了日落的时刻。在被卖给竞争对手 Pinboard 之后，Del.icio.us 即将于本月下旬被关闭。作为一家帮助人们在互联网上保存和分享互联网书签的网站，Del.icio.us 对 Flickr、SutmbleUpon、Twitter、Pocket、Pinterest 都有着深远的影响。
Del.icio.us 是第一家用标签系统（tagging system）来管理内容的网站，它于 2005 年被雅虎收购（金额在 1500~3000 万美元之间），但它很大程度上已经被忽略且管理不善。
自 2011 年以来，Del.icio.us 每隔几年就被易手一次。首先是被 AVOS System 接手，接着在 2014 年被卖给了 Science Inc.，然后又在 2016 年落到了 Delicious Media 麾下。

Pinboard 创始人兼开发者 Maciej Ceglowksi 表示：
Del.icio.us 将在网络上留存下去，但将于 6 月 15 日转入只读模式，意味着用户无法再保存新的书签。
当然，用户可以选择将数据迁移至 Pinboard 账号，或者利用一款导出工具，将他们的书签挪腾到其它服务商（这件事是没有时间期限的）。
